ADVOCATING FOR GEORGIA'S EMPLOYERS: A MESSAGE FROM TUCKER GREEN
I am honored to serve as the registered lobbyist for the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Association (GWCA). Representing the interests of Georgia employers is a responsibility I take very seriously, and I am thrilled to join this association to champion the causes that matter most to our members.

Employers are the backbone of our state’s economy. They create jobs, foster innovation, and drive the growth of local communities. Yet, they also face increasing challenges—from regulatory burdens to workforce dynamics. Navigating the complexities of workers’ compensation is one of those critical areas, and it’s my mission to ensure Georgia employers are protected and supported every step of the way.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of advocating for Georgia’s business community in a variety of capacities. My track record reflects the success of proactive and strategic advocacy. In recent years, I’ve worked on and championed three important pieces of legislation, all of which Governor Kemp signed into law. These experiences have given me firsthand knowledge of the legislative process and reinforced the importance of building strong relationships with policymakers.

Advocacy is not just about reacting to challenges but also about shaping the future. As your lobbyist, I will focus on promoting policies that enhance the workers’ compensation system while protecting the interests of Georgia’s employers. Whether it’s ensuring fair practices, reducing unnecessary costs, or creating more streamlined processes, I’ll work to keep your voices at the forefront of decision-making under the Gold Dome.

This role is not just about policy; it’s about people. Every decision we influence affects not only businesses but also the lives of the hardworking employees they support. That’s why I am committed to working collaboratively with GWCA members, stakeholders, and state leaders to find common-sense solutions that balance the needs of employers and employees alike.

Looking ahead, I see tremendous opportunities for GWCA to play an even greater role in shaping Georgia’s workers’ compensation policies. The legislative landscape is ever-changing, and it’s crucial that we remain proactive in addressing emerging trends and challenges. Whether it’s advancements in workplace safety, the impact of new technologies, or evolving workforce dynamics, GWCA must continue to lead the way.

To achieve these goals, I plan to use my skills, relationships, and deep understanding of Georgia’s legislative and regulatory processes. My commitment is to serve as a strong and effective voice for GWCA, ensuring that the policies enacted at the state level reflect the realities and priorities of our members.

I am excited about the road ahead and the opportunity to work alongside each of you. Together, we can strengthen the foundation of Georgia’s workers’ compensation system and ensure a prosperous future for our employers and employees. Let’s make a difference—for Georgia businesses, for our economy, and for the communities we serve.

Sincerely,
Tucker Green
